2012 WCDS Program

Continuing Education Units / Professional Development Hours

The following organizations have approved the 2012 Western Canadian Dairy Seminar program for continuing education credits. Individual members are responsible for reporting their attendance and requesting the credits. Letters verifying attendance are available from the WCDS Conference Co-ordinator.

American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists (ARPAS) – Based on contact hours and program content, the Pre-Conference Sympsium for Nutritionists will qualify for 3 CEU's and the Seminar program following will qualify for 12 CEU's. This is an excellent program and will provide valuable information for both producers and professionals in our industry.

This information will be posted on the ARPAS website (www.arpas.org). Participants who are ARPAS members will need to request credit on the website or by sending Yvona Vlach (YvonaV@assochq.org) an email requesting credit.

Alberta Veterinary Medical Association (AB.VMA) – The ABVMA has approved the program "30 Years of Advancing Dairy Knowledge" for 12 hrs of scientific CE and 5 hrs of non-scientific CE.

Alberta Institute of Agrologists (AIA) – The Seminar and presentations are eligible for professional development hours as required for registration with the profession of agrology in Alberta. The conference falls under the "Professional Meetings" professional development activity category of AIA.
